Your Mountain

We all have mountains in our lives.

Past wounds, strained relationships, missed opportunities.

They loom over us- seemingly too big to climb, too monstrous to move.

Do you see your mountain now?

What are you facing?

I wish I could go with you to the depths of your soul and face it with you.

But look!

Despite your mountain‘s overwhelming appearance, when you shine light on it, there is so much beauty there.

I hope you can tell us about it someday.

My friend, one day you will see this mountain in the rear view of your life.

As you continue to move forward, you will remember the peaks and valleys.

It made you strong.

It made you resilient.

It took you from broken to bold.

You are a lot less broken than you think.

Keep pushing.  Enjoy the view every so often.  You are living proof that mountains can be moved.

Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:20
